Tasting Notes"Subdued but pure and profound. Tightly wound on the palate, the tannins powerful but refined, the fruit deep but underplayed. A saline edge that runs from start to finish adding length at the end. Needs to unfurl and expand but clearly has potential. 17.5 points" jancisrobinson.com (JH)------"After the past several vintages, the 2020 Hermitage La Chapelle will need to add significant richness and concentration if it is to compete at that level. That said, it is still an excellent wine, with classic aromas of crushed stone, cassis, espresso and black olives. It's full-bodied, fine and silky, giving an impression of great elegance on the lingering finish. 93-95 points" Joe Czerwinski, RobertParker.com------“While there are faint roasted coffee bean notes here, which hint at the warm summer, and exotic rose and musk characters that only ever emerge in concentrated vintages, this is a masterclass in restraint and self-awareness. While this 2020 perhaps lacks the overall gravitas and high-rise tannins of the majestic 2019 vintage, this is a very seductive La Chapelle and one that will appeal to lovers of textural, velvety Syrahs. I am certain that everyone who drinks this wine will fall for its charms. (Drink 2025 – 2040)” 19+ points" Matthew Jukes |

Tasting Notes"Coming from three different sectors in the Côte Rozier lieu-dit, the 2020 Côte Rôtie La Belle Hélène is all about elegance and finesse, with gorgeous cassis and darker fruits supported by wildflowers, violets, rose petals, and subtle truffly earth and iron. It's full-bodied, incredibly layered, and concentrated, with flawless balance as well as ultra-fine tannins. This cuvée normally demands cellaring, but there’s a purity and seamlessness that makes it almost impossible to resist today. Nevertheless, do your best to hide bottles for at least 4-5 years. It will cruise in cold cellars over the following two decades. 2028-2049. 99 points." Jebdunnuck.com------"Crafted from vines planted on Côte Rozier, a pure schist and mica-schists terroir, the 2020 Cote Rotie La Belle Helene emerges as a breathtaking contender for the vintage’s top wine. Offering up a charming, delicate, complex bouquet of iris, violets, dark berries, dark cherries and rose petals, complemented by subtle black truffle accents, it's full-bodied, layered and seamless, with a multidimensional core of fruit and filigreed, fine-grained tannins. It is supported by bright acids and superb dry extracts, giving it a vertical, ethereal finish. La Belle Helene is a cuvée that historically benefits from patience, representing one of the finest contemporary expressions of Côte-Rôtie I have encountered, and it stands on the brink of achieving a perfect score in the coming years. 2028 - 2054. 99+ points." Tasting Notes"...Certified organic (Ecocert). Syrah-led blend with Grenache and Cinsault. Aged in barrels.A little whiff of sweaty-saddle Syrah turns to beef stock and chocolate and then a mid-palate drenching of dark-red plums and damsons. Tannic in the grippy, wild-winter-walk, thick-skin way that sloe berries and elderberries are. A yin-yang wine that turns in your mouth like a light catcher in the breeze – changing from fruit to earth-and-spice to rugged-tugged coffee bitterness. Great tension and promise but put this away for another three years at least. 2026-2033. 16.5++ points". (TC) Jancisrobinson.com |

Tasting Notes"Bottled in September, the 2021 Côte Rôtie reveals a healthy ruby hue to go with a beautiful and classic Jamet nose of ripe red and black fruits, peppery herbs, menthol, spring flowers, and subtle meaty nuances. Fermented with 90% whole clusters, it's medium-bodied, has a focused, elegant, seamless texture, and outstanding length. This delicate, seamless, perfumed Jamet will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and evolve gracefully over the following 10-15 years. 92 points" Jebdunnuck.com------“The 2021 Côte-Rôtie fermented with roughly 90% whole-clusters. Fragrant raspberry jam, crushed violets, cedar and licorice rise up from the glass. Spicy undertones and stemmy gradations add more layers. Framed by velvety tannins and balanced by bright acidity, this is a finessed Jamet with plenty of energy. Albeit not as concentrated and deep as the 2020 or potentially the 2022, the elegant 2021 dazzles regardless. 93 points" Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous.com |

Tasting Notes"Vinified with 100% whole bunches, the 2022 Cote Rotie from Jean-Paul & Corinne Jamet reveals a dense, deep and complex bouquet of violets, mulberries, flowers, ripe dark wild berries and licorice, all accented by delicate spicy undertones. Medium to full-bodied, dense and structured, it's tense, with a fleshy core of fruit for a Côte Rôtie and a long, spicy and fruity finish. This vintage stands out with its vibrant, succulent acidity, lending an ethereal quality to the wine and making it less austere than previous vintages. 94 points" Yohan Castaing, RobertParker.com------"“The 2022 Côte-Rôtie is alluring and complex, with ripe black fruit, crushed violet, iodine, graphite and cedar notes alongside stemmy, spicy hints. Medium-bodied yet markedly concentrated, the 2022 shines with flawless elegance and an elongated, expansive finish. Sleek tannins underpin this expressive Côte-Rôtie. This is a fantastic Jamet not to be missed by anyone fortunate enough to latch into a bottle. 95 points" Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous.com------"Just bottled, the 2022 Côte Rôtie offers a beautifully classic Jamet perfume of red and black fruits, crushed stone, and sappy flowers. It's medium to full-bodied on the palate and has a broad, layered mouthfeel, building tannins, and a great finish. It needs 7-8 years of bottle age and will see its 30th birthday in fine form. Tasting Notes"The 2022 Collines Rhodaniennes La Rosine is rocking stuff, with ripe red and black fruits, asphalt, roasted herbs, and leather notes. From granite soils in the southern part of the appellation, this medium to full-bodied effort shows good ripeness and roundness, offering meaty, savory character balanced by good sweetness of fruit. Tasting NotesAged in older oak barrels. Ethereal, floral aromas on the nose and complex secondary development on both the nose and palate. Fresh acidity, black fruits, subtle woodsmoke aromas, spice and very elegant tannic structure. RKL------"The 2022 Cornas Granit 30 was made from fully destemmed grapes. It exhales prominent black fruit aromatics paired with pencil shavings, iodine and an underlying rusticity. Medium- to full-bodied, structured and concentrated, there's plenty of old-world savoriness in this classic 2022 Cornas. 2025-2032. 91-93 points." Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous.com------"Coming from vines lower on the slope, closer to the village, and all destemmed, the 2022 Cornas Granit 30 reveals a vivid purple/plum hue to go with a beautiful bouquet of ripe red, blue, and black fruits that turn more peppery and floral with air. It's clearly the most forward and accessible of the trio here, but it's still classic Cornas and has good acidity, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish. 92-94 points" Jebdunnuck.com |

Tasting NotesAged for 16 months in 2-8 year old barrels. This has all the attributes of the 'Granit 30', but with a broader, fuller palate and more concentration. More of that delicate woodsmoke aroma on the nose. Nevertheless, the overall impression is of elegance and complexity. Heavenly! Not a word I usually use in tasting notes, but the complex floral aromas and meaty character are sublime. RKL------"Fermented with 30% whole clusters and brought up in used barrel, the 2022 Cornas Granit 60 is lifted and vibrant, with cassis and some candied blue fruits as well as fresh thyme, bouquet garni, pepper, and liquid violet-driven aromatics. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced, with the vintage's ripe yet still fresh style, it should benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and have 15 years of overall longevity. 92-94 points" Jebdunnuck.com------"The broad-shouldered 2022 Cornas Granit 60 offers pronounced intensify of spice-box, cured meat, blackberry jam, cedarwood and wef fea bag alongside crushed violets and iodine subtleties. Full-bodied, concentrated and framed by a massive tannic core, the 2022 concludes with persistence on the expansive finish. Very promising. 2027-2035. 93-95 points." Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous.com |

It offers rocking notes of red and black berry fruits, peppery herbs, violets, and bouquet garni. Medium to full-bodied, with a round, lush mouthfeel and a great finish, drink 2025-2033. 92 points." Tasting Notes“The classic 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape checks in as 70% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, and 15% Syrah raised all in foudre. It's another incredibly classic wine from this domaine that has beautiful red fruit (cherries, framboise) as well as a mineral-laced array of garrigue, sappy flowers, and crushed stone. With medium to full-bodied richness, a pure, elegant mouthfeel, and building tannins, it will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and have two decades of overall longevity. 2026-2043. 95 points." Jeb Dunnuck, Oct '24------In spite of its extreme youth, this great Chateuneuf-du-Pape leaps out at you with its depth of wet-earth, ripe red-berry and dried-flower aromas. Rich and concentrated, but so suave and refined. Incredible length! Can't wait to taste this masterpiece as a bottled wine! 97-98 points" Stuart Piggott, jamessuckling.com |
