Tasting Notes"75% wood and 25% in various types of neutral container. Pale lemon. A fine and classy nose with no wood in evidence, more of a mineral character, but no dominating reduction, just a whisper to add complexity. Behind you can see the rounder fruit of Meursault. Really lovely in the mouth with just a trace of barrel toast at the back. Otherwise, orchard fruit with the sweeter edge of adequate ripeness. Drink from 2027-2030. On the palate though there is good freshness to the appealingly vibrant medium-bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the persistent, agreeably dry and detailed finish where the only nit is a touch of warmth. 89-91 points" Allen Meadows' Burghound------"Made in concrete eggs, not yet racked or sulphured since Les Forêts has only just finished fermenting. Still in its lactic phase. Very embryonic, though there is a promising weight of fruit. Good bright fruit in the middle with vibrant acidity but the wood is indeed less well integrated, for now. Drink from 2027-2032.
