Tasting Notes"The 2024 Montrachet Grand Cru has another well-defined nose, though juxtaposed against the Chevalier this does not contain the same amplitude or refinement. The palate is intense and broad-shouldered, the richness counterbalanced by the acidity. A little spicier than the Chevalier-Montrachet on the finish, this lingers in the mouth. Tasting Notes"The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Clos de la Garenne 1er Cru has a very cohesive bouquet with a little more tension than the La Garenne cuvée: touches of grilled walnut and almond, a dab of crushed stone. The palate is well balanced with a smooth entry. Again, the acidity is just a bit lower than expected, fine depth, quite rounded on the finish with hints of camomile coming through with time. I like the persistence of this wine and it should develop well in bottle. Drinking Window: 2027-2042. 91-93 points" Neal Martin, Vinous.com ------"Mid to full lemon yellow. Tasting Notes"The 2024 Puligny Montrachet Cailleret 1er Cru, picked at the beginning of the harvest, has the best aromatics among the five Premier Crus tasted from the appellation at Jadot, endowed with greater stoniness and tension, more typicité. The palate is well balanced with a tangy, light spiced entry. There is a fine thread of acidity here with just a dab of lemongrass that enlivens the finish. Worth seeking out.
