Tasting Notes"The 2017 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot) is excellent, displaying a lovely bouquet of lemon oil, white flowers, crushed chalk and a discrete touch of new oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, tensile and tight-knit, with chewy structuring dry extract, tangy acids and a long, grippy finish. This is built for the cellar and will be well worth seeking out. 93-95 points." William Kelley, WA |

Tasting Notes"The 2018 Meursault-Blagny 1er Cru comes from a single plot of around half a hectare in the lieu-dit of La Pièce Sous La Bois. It conveys superb terroir expression, almost Puligny-like in its evocation of wet, cold limestone, wet pavement after a sudden shower and light lemon peel elements. The palate is taut and crisp on the entry, a fine bead of acidity slicing through the intense citrus and orange peel notes, which segue into a quite a spicy ginger-tinged finish. I just want more on the aftertaste, which disappears quicker than I would like. 91-93 points" Neal Martin, Vinous.com------"Once again, and all the more remarkably so for the vintage, Jobard coaxes the restrained cool, pure and airy aromas to emanate from the wonderfully elegant floral, citrus and essence of white-fleshed fruit. The gorgeously textured medium-bodied flavors are powerful yet focused with a lovely minerality and just the right blend of bitter citrus zest character that renders the finish super-refreshing. Good stuff that will need to develop more depth but nonetheless, this is already very fine. Sweet spot Outstanding. 91-93 points" Allen Meadows' Burghound------Old vines from the early 1950s and the young vines from 2009. Good flowering but the old vines always produce tiny grapes. Coming to this from the St-Aubin 1ers crus and another dimension is clearly evident. This is a complex supple wine with a nuanced range of flavours, mostly in white fruit, with perfectly balanced oak and fine length. Tasted: December 2019. 92-94 points" Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com |

Tasting Notes"The 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a fresh bouquet of fennel, mint and light hazelnut aromas, all complementing the citrus fruit. The palate is vibrant and fresh on the entry with a fine bead of acidity. Harmonious from start to finish, it delivers an appealing spiciness that leaves the tongue tingling, thanks to a dab of ginger on the aftertaste. Very fine. 2023-2048. 93-95 points." Tasting Notes"The 2018 Meursault Charmes ler Cru, Jadot's second vintage from this vineyard, offers an intense bouquet of jasmine, dried honey and grilled walnut scents that seem well defined, if not quite as precise as some of the vineyard's other exponents. The palate is fresh and well defined on the entry, with a slightly honeyed texture, a faint tang of marmalade and quince and a lightly spiced, quite persistent finish that feels satisfying, even if not as tensile as the Meursault•Blagny by direct comparison. Fine. 89-91 points." Neal Martin, Nov '19 |

Tasting NotesThis gives a sense of great density on the nose but then also has impressive tension on the palate. The fruit character is of white stone fruits with lots of delicate floral complexity, but the overall effect is of a very ripe and rich style. RKL "The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Abbaye de Morgeot 1er Cru has a lovely bouquet of orange blossom, freshly sliced pear and light nectarine aromas, plus a hint of praline in the background. The palate is well balanced with a honeyed opening, quite rich in style, and yet there is wonderful tension. Appealing tropical notes of passion fruit and guava on the finish. This will be irresistible once bottled. 2022 - 2033. 91-93 points." Neal Martin Vinous.com, Dec 2020 |

Tasting Notes"Antoine has decided to blend together all his Meursault lieux dits in a change from previous practice. The 2020 comprises 40% En la Barre 20% Tillets and the result comes from his previous Meursault blend and the recently purchased Meix Tavaux. Clear pure lemon and lime, with a touch of reduction. Definite austerity here but with fruit volume behind. In fact, there is a wonderful concentration of pure lime infused fruit, with a steely backbone. Very fine long aftertaste. Love it! Very long indeed. Tasted: 11/1/2021. (5 star wine) 91-94 points" Jasper Morris, insideburgundy.com |

Tasting NotesBeautifully floral and delicate after the concentration of the Aligote, with clear gun-flint aromas and some peach fruit opening out after a few moments in glass…then the smoky (reductive) notes reassert themselves on the finish, in tandem with the fruit…very harmonious at the end. Tasting NotesSituated right in the centre of the village of Fuissé, this Clos is just over two "hectares" in size and is planted on a shallow slope that faces east. Although a small parcel of vines was planted in 2003, most of the vineyard dates back to 1956, and is therefore more than 60 years old, making it one of the oldest owned by the domaine. The soil is derived from limestone-rich marls deposited during the upper Bathonian. Fermentations and ageing take place in casks, of which 25% is new and 75% is one to three years old, for 10 months. Ageing is completed in stainless steel tank, on lees, for a further 7 months. The 2020 vintage will be bottled in February 2022.------"Here too the wood treatment is more prominent on the ripe aromas of dried apricot, poached pear and anise. There is impressive size, weight and power to the bigger and equally generously proportioned flavors that brim with both dry extract and minerality before culminating in an elegant but powerful and chalky finish. Patience advised here too as this excellent effort brims with upside development potential. 2027+. 93 points" Allen Meadows' Burghound |

Tasting NotesThe 1.15-hectare Les Perrières vineyard is situated to the south of the amphitheatre, on mid-slope just beneath the parcel of Le Clos. Exposed south-south-east, the slope here is steeper than it is on the Clos. The vineyard was planted in 1972-1974. The soil, which is derived from alluvial deposits, consists of a mix of deep silt and stony clay. The subsoil features streaks of limestone and limestone marls, while the top layers are littered with stones on the surface. Fermentation and elevage are handled as for the Clos des Prouges. The 2020 vintage will be bottled in February 2022.------"Here too the wood treatment is more prominent still with notes of vanilla and toast fighting a bit with the ripe aromas of poached pear and anise. There is impressive size, weight and power to the bigger and equally generously proportioned flavors that brim with both dry extract and minerality before culminating in an elegant but powerful finish. Patience advised here too. 2027+. 91-93 points." Allen Meadows, Burghound, Issue 84------"This wine is from east-facing vines behind Mme. Ferret’s house, and is thus called by the domaine ‘Clos de Jeanne’ although it is in premier cru Les Perrières. It delivers a substantial wine; here the cask ferment (20% new) is more apparent, yet it holds this will and shows approachably toasty ripe apple aromas. There is abundant extract here but the wine remains impressively fresh and lingers seductively on the finish. 92 points." Charles Curtis MW, Decanter------“The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Perrières 1er Cru has a very focused, almost steely bouquet, beautifully defined with neatly integrated oak. White flowers emerge with time in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity and wonderful salinity with a vibrant and energetic finish. I cannot wait to taste the finished wine. 91-93 points.” Neal Martin, Neal Martin, Vinous.com, Nov 21 |

A little bit of gunflint reduction, a mild case, then excellent intensity behind, a touch of liquorice, some fresh pears, a fraction of ripe citrus zest, long and complex. Tasting Notes"The Michelot rows run top to bottom, which makes quite a difference. But the wider plot is at the top where the slope is steeper. Seems to start in the citrus mould but there’s something much riper beneath that wants to come out. Tasting NotesWow, intense orchard and stone fruits on the nose balanced by pronounced new oak aromas, giving an impression of classic white burgundy. A very complete wine, delivers a huge amount of flavour and structure, great value. RKL------"Pure, piercing citrus toned down by a stony impression. But it’s the fruit that fills the palate. Tasting Notes"The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Abbaye de Morgeot 1er Cru has a very harmonious bouquet, fine mineralité and tension, focused and displaying impressive energy. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity quite complex and poised with just the right amount of bitterness on the finish to urge you back. Very fine. This should age with style. 91-93 points" Neal Martin, Vinous.com------"Fullish, yellowish colour, while the bouquet shows a fair amount of oak. The full weight of Morgeot is lurking. It all works though. If you want a white Burgundy with significant volume of flesh without forcing the ripeness too far, this will do the job. Just the right balance here. Tasted: November 2021 91-94 points" Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com------"One of the standouts of the range is the 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Abbaye de Morgeot (Domaine Louis Jadot), a medium to full-bodied, layered and seamless wine evocative of pear, orange oil and pastry cream. Tasting Notes"The swan song for this cuvée is the 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle (Duc de Magenta), a muscular, concentrated wine that exhibits aromas of orange oil, peach, buttery pastry and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural, with a fleshy core of ripe fruit and bright balancing acids, it offers a classic expression of Morgeot in all its exuberance. 91-93 points" William Kelley, RobertParker.com------"The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle 1er Cru has a taut, fresh, vibrant bouquet with yellow flowers intermixed with light citrus scents, gravel and jasmine. The palate is smooth and harmonious, tangerine and nectarine on the entry, moderate weight with a slightly pithy finish. I am intrigued to see how this will develop. 91-93 points" Neal Martin, Vinous.com------"The last vintage of this wine chez Jadot as the vineyard has been sold. Medium yellow in colour. There is a little less overt power and perhaps a touch more terroir in this wine. Then the full weight kicks in, nicely married with its wood, and a sense of managed opulence behind infiltrated by good acidity. Tasting Notes"The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a lifted, liquorice-tinged bouquet that opens beautifully in the glass (and has not problem following on from Jadot’s Montrachet!) The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity that cuts through the crisp citrus fruit laced with orange pith, stem ginger and white pepper. There is real cohesion and persistence on the finish - just an excellent Corton-Charlemagne. 93-95 points" Neal Martin, Vinous.com------"The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot) is broad and muscular, unfurling in the glass with aromas of lime cordial, orange zest, white flowers and pastry cream. Full-bodied, rich and textural, it's a thick, fleshy wine with terrific concentration and tangy balancing acids. 93-95+ points" William Kelley, RobertParker.com------"Pale lemon yellow. Tasting Notes"The 2020 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes (Domaine Louis Jadot) exhibits aromas of popcorn, green apple, pear and orange oil. Maybe that will develop during the remainder of it élevage? 87-89 points" Neal Martin, Vinous.com------"Pale to mid yellow. Tasting NotesVines planted in 1950-51. 'Morgeot' is a very large premier cru and contains several other smaller premiers crus, of which 'Les Petits Clos' is one. Morgeot wines are often blended from parcels across the vineyard, but this is from a single plot of 2 hectares. Facing south-east, the soils here have lots of white clay and limestone. White fruits on the nose, some peach, smoky citrus, more stone fruits and ginger on the palate. Excellent length. As per the previous vintage, there is something instantly likeable about this wine, all of its complex layers are immediately accessible. RKL |

Tasting NotesFrom younger vines in the lower, northern part of Santenay and is mostly a young vine cuvée. The vineyard is planted with 3% of a chardonnay clone which gives a rich style with almost Muscat-like aromas. The finished style is similar to Chassagne-Montrachet with lots of richness and texture, presumably influenced by the use of lees stirring and ageing in 30% new wood. Balanced citrus and yuzu fruit on the nose, lovely fresh acidity balancing the concentration, some white flowers, tangerines on the palate. Quite different to the tropical notes and glyecrine-texture from some recent vintages of Gravieres. Good energy. RKL |

Tasting Notes"This is part of Les Reisses and will be marked as a 1er on the back label...Moderate wood is present on the markedly floral-scented nose of lemon-lime, apple and a plethora of citrus elements. As is typically the case, the broad-shouldered flavors possess excellent mid-palate concentration and imposing power while delivering first-class length on the youthfully austere finale. Even by the excellent standards of this wine vintage in and vintage out, this is a big example in 2021. 91-94 points" Allen Meadows' Burghound |

Tasting NotesFrom vines in the 'Les Quarts' Climat, Les Longeays is a vineyard which faces South-East, with deep soils. The grapes here reach maturity early, year after year. The finished wine has great ageing potential.------"The 2021 Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat Les Longeays has a very precise nose, lemon verbena and crushed stone, just a bit of reduction that is gommon in this cuvée during barrel maturation. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. Good tension here, a vertical" Pouilly-Vinzelles that lingers nicely in the mouth. 90-92 points." Neal Martin, Vinous.com |

Tasting Notes"Clear pale colour. The nose is the cleanest and the most classic, with more fruit evident from the start. One younger plot lower down was nearly a full crop. This has a beginning, a middle and an end, not the plumpest Charmes of your life, but much the style of wine which Nicolas wants to make and is capable of. Lots of detail here too, nuanced from its varied elevage. Lovely crunch to it, very good. Drink from 2026-2031. Tasted: October 2022. 92-95 points" Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com |

Tasting Notes"Three barrels, this sample is the blend. It will be racked into new baby tanks he has bought especially. Mid yellow in colour. Here the wood only shows at the fringes because the depth of white Clos fruit completely fills the middle ground. Excellent limestone acidity at the finish, a Clos of considerable promise. Tasting Notes"Sample taken from various barrels, not otherwise yet assembled. There is an oaky element but it works well with this terroir, in complement to the fruit. Quite a wealth on the palate, on the cusp between white and yellow, then a buttery oaky quality to finish – but absolutely not interfering with the fruit. Fine length. Tasting Notes"Cask sample. Quite rich initially on the nose and then backed up by fine acidity and structure. A very successful wine! Minerally and sinewy and very impressively long. Drink 2025 – 2038. 17 points" jancisrobinson.com------"While moderate there is enough wood to notice on the more floralsuffused nose of just sliced pear and citrus. There is excellent volume to the succulent and enveloping medium weight flavors that possess solid mid-palate concentration before terminating in a clean and mouthcoating finish where a hint of bitter lemon appears. This distinctly powerful and beautifully persistent effort should effortlessly repay a decade plus of keeping yet it’s not so structured that it couldn’t be approached after 5-ish years. 2031+. 91-93 points" Allen Meadows' Burghound |

Tasting Notes"Aromas of lime zest, freshly baked bread, pear, white flowers and wet stones preface the 2021 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot), a full-bodied, ample and satiny wine that's chalky and structured, with notable concentration, racy acids and a long, resonant finish. It's a very strong performance that transcends any of the vintage's limitations. 93-95+ points" William Kelley, RobertParker.com------"(from Les Pougets in Aloxe-Corton). Cooler and airier aromas include those of mostly green apple, mineral reduction, crushed fennel and white flowers. There is almost painful intensity to the beautifully textured if slightly less concentrated medium-bodied flavors that exude a pungent stoniness on the tautly muscular, moderately austere and bone-dry finale that goes on and on. It’s rare that the Jadot CC appears more interesting than the Demoiselles but at this very early juncture, it seems to have a slight edge. Either way, this is terrific. 2033+. 93-96 points" Allen Meadows' Burghound |

Tasting Notes"Cask sample. Very charming indeed. No shortage of weight or acidity. Dense and sweetly floral. But with some savour. Truly Meursault. Long. With excellent freshness. Quite a bit to chew on. Drink 2025 – 2034. 16.5+ points" jancisrobinson.com------"There is a touch of lemon zest on the aromas of mostly apple, petrol and white floral wisps. There is once again outstanding density to the more refined if less mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors that possess a succulent mid-palate that contrasts somewhat with the moderately austere but not especially dry finale that exhibits sneaky good length. This promising if mildly edgy effort should repay mid to even longer-term keeping. 2029+. 89-92 points" Allen Meadows' Burghound |

Tasting Notes"A strong effort, the 2021 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Garenne (Maison Louis Jadot) reveals aromas of white currant, crisp orchard fruit and peach mingled with hints of beeswax and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with racy acids and a saline finish, it's a lively, impressively complete white. 91-92 points" William Kelley, RobertParker.com------"A cool nose reflects notes of green apple, citrus, white flower and just cut pear nuances. There is excellent delineation and vibrancy to the refined and understated middleweight flavors that are almost aggressively mineral-driven, all wrapped in a moderately austere, compact and serious finale. This lovely effort is sufficiently tightly wound to likely need most of a decade to reach its apogee. 2029+. 90-93 points" Allen Meadows' Burghound |

Otherwise, the round, suave and very seductively textured medium weight flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract while the youthfully austere and balanced finish immediately tightens up to suggest that this too is going to need a decade plus to realize its full potential. 2031+. 91-93 points" Allen Meadows' Burghound |

There is both excellent richness and volume to the generously proportioned medium-bodied flavors that offer both better depth and persistence as well as better balance. Tasting NotesBeautiful citrus aromas, candied-lemon rind, acacia honey and oak, with energy provided by reductive struck-match aromas on the nose. The wine explodes on the mid-palate but shows a restrained steeliness, salinity and excellent acidity. Tasting NotesEach time we taste this it evokes comparisons with Meursault. From younger vines in the northern part of Santenay, at a lower elevation, hence riper in style than Sous La Roche. This is mostly a young vine cuvée but from complex soils. Soft and plush on the palate, balanced by salinity, immediately noticeable, and lots of citrus fruit. More layered and complex, with a note of iodine on the finish. The salty-iodine character note and fresh acidity are a counterpoint to the ripeness. RKL |

Tasting NotesThe 'Sous La Roche' lieu-dit is a small vineyard, less than half a hectare, quite high up on the slopes above the village of Santenay. The grapes are passed through a gentle pneumatic press at low pressure soon after harvesting. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at very low temperatures, in barrel, with particular emphasis on lees management, which contributes roundness and complexity of aroma. The wine spends 12 to 15 months in cask, 20-25% new, with regular bâtonnage until malolactic starts. Delightful freshness and citrus fruit on the nose, quite intense, really nice energy, glycerine texture, full-on attack, then gradually diminishes the on mid-palate, reasserting itself on the finish. Very good balancing acidity keeping the whole impression fresh, with a bit of salinity on the finish. RKL |
